Senior and Experienced Hydrograhic Surveyor
Our Client is looking for Senior and Experienced Hydrographic Surveyors on a permament basis.
Key activities:
- Operation of on-line navigation
- Operation of swath bathymetric systems
- Post Processing of navigation and swath data
- Report preparation
- Carry out administration tasks according to company’s procedures
- Be conversant with all leading edge technology relating to navigation and swath bathymetric operations
- Assist in preparation of proposals
- Advise and instruct relevant managers on hydrographic matters during all operations
Preferred qualifications:
- Degree in survey related discipline, or relevant experience and proven track record
- 3-5 years minimum field experience as hydrographic surveyor
- Data processing and interpretation experience; prior use of QINSy, QLoud and Fledermaus an advantage
- Knowledge of land survey techniques and practices an advantage
- Positive team spirit, good mental attitude and the ability to communicate to all levels essential.
