Route Clearance
Pelagian has the capability to provide equipment and personnel to perform Route Clearance and Pre Lay Grapnel Runs (RC and PLGR). Pelagian can project manage route clearance campaigns worldwide, using our dedicated in-house and offshore project managers and can provide a team of experienced offshore personnel to operate Pelagian's route clearance equipment. One of Pelagian's affiliated survey companies will provide the vessel navigation and survey equipment for the duration of the works along with fully qualified survey personnel. The route clearance equipment is fully modular and containerised and can be mobilised quickly to the customer's vessel and destination port, worldwide. Shore End Installation
Pelagian's shore end personnel are highly experienced in the installation of cables in the shallow surf and coastal zones, having installed many of the world's fibre optic and power cables. Pelagian can provide the shore end management team required and will assess the landing point topography, hazards to installation, procurement of local labour and equipment and will comply with local working practices.
Pelagian understands the requirements of the customer to meet the expected high standards of safety, security and environmental awareness to ensure that the new cable, once installed, fulfils its projected life cycle. |
